Green Workshops by FHPS EE Ambassadors
Workshop 1 (GW01): Make a Coin Pouch from 1 litre Drink Cartons
In this workshop, participants will be designing and making their own milk carton coin pouch. Through the workshop, participants get to experience the joy of using upcycled paperboards to make something useful, giving these supposed discarded milk/juice cartons a new lease of life and promoting green and eco living. The completed coin pouches are perfect conversation starters and an useful piece for daily use.
Workshop 2 (GW02): Making Rain Gardens
In this workshop, participants will understand the purpose and benefits of having rain gardens in our environment. Participants will understand how the rain garden works and how properly designed rain gardens can enhance infiltration and can reduce concentrations of dissolved ions relative to background conditions.
Workshop 3 (GW03): Making Self-watering Bottled Planters
In this workshop, participants will learn the 5 benefits of making their own self-watering bottled planter.
